Lost Mary BM6000 Instruction Manual

The Lost Mary BM6000 is a new big puff vape that has become Lost Mary’s most popular product in the United Kingdom, Ireland and many other regions. The BM6000 was recently redesigned for several markets in light of the disposable vape bans that are sweeping across Europe.  Between that and the fact that some people still have yet to try big puff vapes for the first time, the BM6000 might look a little foreign to you when you first open the box.

Never fear, because this Lost Mary BM6000 instruction manual is here to help. The BM6000 may work a bit differently from other vapes, but it’s designed to be as simple as possible. With these instructions, you’ll get used to it quickly.

What Makes the Lost Mary BM6000 Different from Other Vapes?

Before we get started, you might be wondering why the Lost Mary BM6000 is so different from vapes you may have used in the past.

The Lost Mary BM6000 is a big puff vape, which is like a cross between a disposable vape and a pre-filled pod system. It’s shaped like a disposable vape and uses simple inhale-based activation. Unlike a disposable vape, though, the e-liquid refill system is removable and replaceable – so it’s legal where disposables are banned.

The reason why the Lost Mary BM6000 is called a “big puff” vape is because it comes with enough e-liquid to deliver up to 6,000 puffs. The vape juice is split between a 2 ml pod and a 10 ml refill container, so the BM6000 doesn’t violate any e-liquid capacity restrictions in TPD regions.

How to Set Up the Lost Mary BM6000

The enormous e-liquid capacity of the Lost Mary BM6000 is the thing that makes it different from traditional disposable vapes and pod systems, but it’s also the reason why you might feel a little confused about what you’re supposed to do when you first take the device out of the box. Thankfully, the designers at Lost Mary made the process as simple as possible. Here’s how to set up the Lost Mary BM6000.

  • Open the box and remove the Lost Mary BM6000 from the pouch.

  • Remove the sticker covering the outside of the refill container. The sticker has a bit of information that essentially functions as a short instruction manual for the BM6000.

  • Remove the silicone cover from the outside of the device. The cover functions as a plug for the mouthpiece and as a barrier that prevents the seal on the refill container from being accidentally broken.

  • Push the refill container toward the top of the Lost Mary BM6000 until it clicks into place.

  • Turn the BM6000 upside down and shake it gently for a few seconds. You should see bubbles forming in the refill container as the e-liquid absorbs into the device’s wicking system. The device is now ready to use.

How to Use the Lost Mary BM6000

To use the Lost Mary BM6000, simply puff gently on the mouthpiece. The BM6000 has an automatic airflow sensor and produces vapor when it detects the incoming air. To avoid flooding the coil assembly in the pod, always use gentle air pressure. If the BM6000 gurgles, you’re puffing too hard and could potentially cause a leak.

How to Recharge the Lost Mary BM6000

The Lost Mary BM6000 has a built-in display that shows you the battery’s current charge level. When the meter reaches 0%, it’s time to recharge the device. You can do that by connecting the device to a USB power source.

  • You’ll get the best performance if you charge the device through your computer.

  • You can also use most USB wall adapters.

  • Don’t charge the Lost Mary BM6000 through a high-speed wall adapter for a smartphone, tablet or PC.

When the meter reaches 100%, the battery is fully charged. Charging the Lost Mary BM6000 takes about an hour.

When Is the Lost Mary BM6000 Empty?

A great feature of the Lost Mary BM6000 is that you can see your e-liquid supply because the refill container is transparent. You don’t have to guess when your device is getting low on vape juice because you can simply look at the container.

One important thing to understand, though, is that the refill container doesn’t have the BM6000’s entire e-liquid supply because the device also has a pre-filled 2 ml pod. Through the device’s internal wicking system, the refill container keeps the pod topped up as you vape.

In other words: When the refill container is empty, you still have around 2 ml of vape juice in the pod. That might be enough e-liquid for 1-2 days of vaping.

The Lost Mary BM6000 is empty when it begins to taste burnt every time you puff on it. At that point, it’s time to replace or refill the device.

How to Refill the Lost Mary BM6000

Many people may discover this instruction manual because they want to know if it’s possible to refill the Lost Mary BM6000. The answer to that question depends on where you live.

  • The BM6000 was originally released as a disposable vape, and that version of the device isn’t refillable. When the refill container and pod are both empty, you’ll need to dispose of the device. If disposable vapes are still legal where you are, you probably have the non-refillable version of the BM6000.

  • In places where disposable vapes have been banned, Lost Mary converted the BM6000 to a refillable vape to comply with the new laws. If you can remove the pod and refill container, you have a refillable BM6000.

To refill your Lost Mary BM6000, you need to have a refill kit. The kit consists of both a pod and a refill container. Here’s how to use it.

  • Grasp the mouthpiece and lift it straight up to remove the pod.

  • Pull the refill container straight down to remove it.

  • Push the new pod into the top of the BM6000.

  • Insert the new refill container and push it up until it clicks.

  • Turn the BM6000 upside down and shake it gently until bubbles begin to form in the refill container.

Fixing Problems with the Lost Mary BM6000

If your Lost Mary BM6000 isn’t working as it should, there’s a good chance that the fix is simple. Here’s what you should do depending on the problem you’re having.

Not Working/No Vapor

If you’re getting no vapor at all with the Lost Mary BM6000, try these things.

  • Make sure that the battery is charged. If the screen doesn’t light up when you connect the charging cable, refer to the “Not Charging” section below.

  • Remove and reseat the pod if you’re using a refillable BM6000. The device won’t work if the pod doesn’t have a good connection.

  • Check under the pod for a leak. If you see a large amount of e-liquid under the pod, dry the device completely and try vaping again.

Burnt Taste

If your Lost Mary BM6000 tastes burnt, it’s possible that air bubbles have formed in the refill system and are preventing the pod from replenishing itself. Tap the device gently a few times to break the bubbles and wait several seconds for the e-liquid to absorb. If you continue to get a burnt taste:

  • Try waiting several seconds after each puff to give the wick adequate time to refresh. It’s possible that you’re vaping at too quick a pace.

  • Check the refill container to see if it’s empty. If you’ve been vaping for a while after using all of the e-liquid in the refill container, it might be time to replace the device.

Not Charging

If your Lost Mary BM6000 doesn’t light up when you connect the charging cable, first try using the device to make sure that it isn’t charged already. If it doesn’t work, follow these steps.

  • Replace the USB-C cable. This fixes almost all charging issues.

  • Connect the BM6000 to a different power source. It’s possible that the USB port or charger you’re using is damaged or incompatible.

  • Clean the BM6000’s charging port. Use a thin tool like a toothpick to remove lint and dust.
